At Hughes Autoformers, your satisfaction is our top priority. We proudly stand behind our products and want you to be completely happy with your purchase. Below, you’ll find detailed information on our shipping policies, return process, warranty coverage, and important instructions for both U.S. and Canadian customers.

Shipping Information

Order Processing & Shipping Times:

  • Most items ship the same business day if your order is placed before 12:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday.

  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST or on weekends/holidays will ship the next business day.

  • Standard ground shipping takes approximately 2–7 business days.

  • Please note: ground shipping is not guaranteed and may be delayed, particularly at customs for Canadian orders.

PO Boxes:

  • We do not ship to PO Boxes. A physical address is required for delivery via UPS.

Tracking:

  • Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Canadian Customers

Shipping:

  • Orders ship from our warehouse in Anaheim, CA via UPS Ground.

  • You may choose an expedited shipping method during checkout. Upgrading typically adds $50 USD to the cost.

  • We do not cover any duties, taxes, or tariffs. These charges are assessed by Canadian customs and are the customer’s responsibility.

ETL Certification for Canada:

  • Our Power Watchdog models (PWD30, PWD50, PWD30EPO, PWD50EPO, PWD30EPOH, PWD50EPOH) are ETL certified to CSA/UL standards, making them approved for sale in Canada.

Return Policy

If you’re not completely satisfied, you may return your product within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, minus the original shipping fees. To qualify:

  1. Contact Customer Service at (888) 540-1504 to receive a Return Authorization Number.

  2. The item must be in like-new condition with all original parts and packaging.

  3. The Return Authorization Number must be clearly visible on the outside of the shipping box.

  4. Include a copy of your dated receipt with the return.

Note: Returns are only accepted for items purchased directly from Hughes Autoformers.

Warranty & Service Returns

Warranty Coverage:

  • Power Watchdog surge protectors come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

  • Accessories (e.g., locks, rain covers, plugs, sockets) are covered under a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.

Return Authorization for Repairs:

  • If your Autoformer needs service or repair, you must first obtain a Return Authorization Number by calling Customer Service at (888) 540-1504.

  • Returns without an authorization number and/or a check for return freight will be returned unserviced or delayed until payment is received.

  • Freight is not covered under our two-year warranty, as stated on the warranty card.

Be Prepared to Discuss:

  • Voltage measurements from the power source (park power pole) and inside your RV.

  • Your RV's electrical service (30A or 50A).

  • The model number and, if available, the serial number of the Autoformer.

  • Note: Plug-in meters are not accurate. We recommend using digital meters for voltage readings.

Shipping Instructions:

  • Use UPS or FedEx only. Do not use USPS, as we do not recommend it for shipping Autoformers.

  • Hughes Autoformers is not responsible for shipping damage due to inadequate packaging.

  • Include a copy of your original dated sales receipt with the seller’s name and address.

  • Clearly label your package with the Return Authorization Number.

  • Tariffs and taxes for international orders are the buyer’s responsibility and are based on the full retail value of your purchase.
